Yes, consolidation is one of our most-used services. We group your cargo with other shipments on the same lane and departure, so the freight cost is shared instead of falling entirely on you. It is how most of our smaller importers ship.
We calculate duty, VAT and applicable charges from your shipment's classification and declared value, and give you the breakdown before goods arrive. You can pay the authorities directly, or have us handle it and settle with us, whichever suits your accounting.
The baseline set is a commercial invoice, a packing list, and the bill of lading or airway bill. Certain categories need more: certificates of origin, quality or conformity certificates, or a sector permit. Tell us what you are importing and we will send you the exact list before you order.
Yes. Through our partner offices we arrange factory pickup, pre-shipment inspection and export documentation directly with your supplier or buyer. For a lot of clients this is the real value. They stop chasing a factory in a different time zone.
On chargeable weight, the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight (length by width by height in cm, divided by 6000). Light but bulky cargo bills on volume, which surprises a lot of first-time importers. Send us dimensions along with weight and your quote will be accurate the first time.
Some categories are restricted, permit-controlled or prohibited outright, and rules differ by mode. Several items that travel by sea cannot go by air at all. Batteries, aerosols, chemicals and certain foodstuffs need declaration and special handling. Describe the goods honestly at enquiry stage and we will tell you what is possible before you commit money to it.
You hear it from us before you notice it yourself. We work the issue directly with the carrier or customs, give you a revised realistic date, and tell you what it changes for your onward plans. We do not sit on bad news hoping it resolves itself.
